I'm almost salivating over on-the-fly format conversion.

Re: Banshee 1.0 is out. - Miguel de Icaza

What application did you use to create the architecture overview? This one will replace Rhythmbox on all of my PCs if the DAAP sharing service doesn't crash the server.

Re: Banshee 1.0 is out. - Miguel de Icaza

It is not just one of the finest applications, it is the first actually usable multimedia (it handles both audio and video well) player for Linux, ever. I'm really impressed with the applications mono has resulted in lately, but there is one little thing that keeps me away from e.g. banshee and beagle. It's that friggin futex_wait that powertop reveals, high on the list of wakeup causes. Is that being worked on? I never hear anything about it. With that out of the way, my desktop would be filled with a bunch of useful mono apps :-)

Re: Banshee 1.0 is out. - Miguel de Icaza

Does anybody know with what program that diagram is made?

Re: Banshee 1.0 is out. - Miguel de Icaza

If you open it with hex editor you'll see it was made with inkscape...

Re: Banshee 1.0 is out. - Miguel de Icaza

Hmmm.... for me Songbird 0.6 looks better than Banshee 1.0 Also Banshee takes the double memory of Rhythmbox.

Re: Banshee 1.0 is out. - Miguel de Icaza

I apologize for being off topic, but could you tell with what software you did the "architectural overview of Banshee's Core" diagram?

Re: Banshee 1.0 is out. - Miguel de Icaza

Great news!
